A Rabbi for a Community
I work with the community in every sense, because being a rabbi is in large part about building a community. I represent our community in my work as a police chaplain and as a member of several interfaith organizations. The most important work, however, is done both inside and outside the synagogue walls with B'nai Mitzvah families, affinity groups, interfaith families, and more.
A Statewide Leader
I have been able to represent my synagogue and the Jewish community of northeastern Kansas at many city- and state-wide functions. I meet with our governor a few times a year and serve at her pleasure as a co-chair of the Kansas State Holocuast Commemoration.
